Atlanta’s A3C hip-hop fest announces first acts
The A3C – largely regarded as the biggest hip-hop festival in the U.S. – has announced its first group of artists.Tech N9ne, Yelawolf, Hopsin, Gunplay, Oddisee, Chris Webby and Skyzoo are among the several hundred acts expected. A showcase by indie label Funk Volume will feature Hopsin, Dizzy Wright, SwizZz and Atlanta’s Jarren Benton and the Mellow Music Group showcase hosts Oddisee accompanied by a live band, Apollo Brown with a special guest, Diamond District, yU and Slimkat78.
A3C is also committed to finding new acts. Artist submissions will continue to be accepted through Aug. 31 through the ReverbNation and Sonicbids websites, but already-chosen artists include CHAUNDON, Kepstar, Nova The Rebel, SK4MC, Phene, Nike Nando, Felony Fame, Eric Biddines, Skoolie Escobar and Mani Coolin’.
The event runs Oct. 11-13, with check-in at the Masquerade.
