In one the most unlikely Twitter interactions of all-time, 84-year-old, extremely wealthy Texas-based business magnate
T. Boone Pickens sent a large serving of perspective to
Drake.
Bam! Pickens, whose
net worth is an estimated $1.4 billion,
maintains his own Twitter account along with "members of his team." So
even if Pickens didn't write this one he's basically approved it. Now
why the heck did the old guy feel compelled to put Drake in his place?
Pickens doesn't follow Drizzy on Twitter; he subscribes to people
like President Obama, Tom Brokaw and business reporters. So maybe a
member of his team brought Drake's remark to Pickens' attention,
prompting the businessman to drop some knowledge for amusement and a
not-so-
humblebrag. Drake later acknowledged that the old man really got him,
tweeting, "boonepickens just stunted on me heavy."
Now why should Pickens stop there? He could to go down the line
flaunting to people who think they're rich, eventually notifying
Kanye West that he's purchased GOOD Music and intends to use the studios for polka artists.
