Jesse Futerman: 'Fuse The Witches' EP (Beat Tape)
Jesse Futerman is a 20-year-old Toronto producer. This somewhat out-of-the-blue free release, Fuse the Witches, follows last June's Super Basement, another interesting but brief collection of instrumentals. The Witches seven-track EP follows a theme lof low-key, almost lounge-y music that includes a take on the classic jazz number "Strange Fruit," famously sung by Billie Holiday. Most of the songs retain that same cool vibe, though the second track--an interlude--introduces a welcomed tint of the future. Listen to Futerman's EP below, where you can download it as well.
